CRC ORE - our impact
The Cooperative Research Centre for Optimising Resource Extraction (CRC ORE) worked closely with Participants to develop innovative solutions to the resources sector's biggest challenges.
CRC ORE worked to minimise the impact of declining grades and radically improve the productivity, energy and water signatures of mining operations. CRC ORE was jointly funded by Participants - which included mining companies, METS, research organisations; and the Australian Government. The centre was a trusted, independent broker and facilitator, driving collaboration across all activities.
CRC ORE was established and supported under the Cooperative Research Centres program, an Australian Government Initiative.
